The mind is a strange, strange place.
OMG YAY! Have a blast! I haven’t even been to NYC before! :D

It’s WONDERFUL. There’s so much to do there that every visit seems like a first visit.

So so soooooooo Nick and I are going TO NEW YORK CITY NEXT WEEKEND.

We’ve been planning this trip for a while, and it’s finally happening. The last time I was in NYC was back in 2006, which was more than eight years ago… aaaaaand I’ve just aged myself considerably.

BUT YES. I’m not sure what we’re doing yet, but we may be going to Comic Con on one of those days. I am a little too excited about all of this.

so in LOTR’s appendices it says that legolas eventually builds a boat and takes gimli across the seas and into the west, the gray havens. you know, the place arwen isn’t allowed to go because she’s in love with a human dude bUT LEGOLAS (AKA ‘YOU LITTLE SHIT’) JUST SAYS “FUCK IT” AND SNEAKS GIMLI INTO THE GODDAMN UNDYING LANDS LIKE CONTRABAND TWIZZLERS INTO A MOVIE THEATER

"We didn’t feel an absolute need for Walt to expire at the end of the show. Our gut told us it was right. As the writers and I worked through all these different possibilities, it felt right, but I don’t think it was a necessity for us. There was a version we kicked around where Walt is the only one who survives, and he’s standing among the wreckage and his whole family is destroyed. That would be a very powerful ending but very much a kick-in-the-teeth kind of ending for the viewers. We talked about a version where Jesse kills Walt. We talked about a version where Walt more or less gets away with it. There’s no right or wrong way to do this job — it’s just a matter of: You get as many smart people around you as possible in the writers room, and I was very lucky to have that. And when our gut told us we had it, we wrote it, and I guess our gut told us that it would feel satisfying for Walt to at least begin to make amends for his life and for all the sadness and misery wrought upon his family and his friends. Walt is never going to redeem himself. He’s just too far down the road to damnation. But at least he takes a few steps along that path." (Vince Gilligan, on Breaking Bad finale, “Felina”)

give me first year sirius spouting the offensive rhetoric he’s been brought up on and being confused when peter is silent and uncomfortable and james looks at him like he doesn’t know him and remus doesn’t speak to him for a few days

give me sirius deeply conflicted about…
